Reject Shop

Objective

The Reject Shop wanted to engage their existing customers as well as grow their new customer database.

Mechanic

The Reject Shop created a clever Image Upload competition whereby customers could pick up a colouring competition sheet from in-store, add their own unique spin to the image and then post via Instagram or hashtag to win a series of major prizes. The risk was higher due to the high barrier to entry, but with great risk comes great reward.

Results

  • Over 100 entries per day for the period of the competition
  • Highest engagement competition The Reject Shop has ever run
  • Significant new growth to database from an entirely new type of customer
